Daily Walks
Autumn 2025
In the series Daily Walks, Kay Lima transforms the ordinary act of routine into abstract gesture. These paintings are not direct representations, but meditations on movement, memory, and the quiet persistence of daily life. Through vivid color, fluid gesture, and deliberate mark-making, Lima builds a visual language that translates lived experience into memory, memory into gratitude, and gratitude into paint. Each work captures the rhythm of repetition – the container that creates spontaneity – both in life and art. You will find within it a record of walking, noticing, and becoming present.
